Will insurance cover any of your services?
Maybe. I am an out-of-network provider, so I don’t participate with any insurance companies. However, at the end of each session I will give you an invoice with the information you need to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. I suggest calling your insurance provider prior to the session to find out what your benefits cover.
Some helpful questions to ask are:
Does my plan include out of network benefits for mental health treatment?
Is there a deductible I have to pay before I can get reimbursed?
What percentage of the fee will I be responsible for?
Is there a maximum number of sessions that is covered under my plan?
Can I bring my baby to the sessions?
Absolutely! Babies are always welcome in the sessions.
Will my partner be involved in the treatment?
Yes, I encourage partners to be involved in treatment. My work with expecting and new mothers is holistic and your partner plays a very important role in the big picture. At times, partners get anxious and depressed following the arrival of a baby, so it’s important for them to get treatment as well.
